Congratulations to all of the teams who worked so very hard climbing their way to the top and winning a chance to go to the T.A.P. Nationals in New Orleans in October. Every team who made it to this event was T.A.P.'s "Best of the Best" so, if your team qualified to play in the Masters, win or lose, you should be very proud of the accomplishment. Below are photo's and names of all the teams who are taking that expense-paid trip to New Orleans for a chance for the BIG prize money. "Good Luck" to everyone!
Extra, Extra, Extra. Due to some unexpected money available in our National fund, we are sending a 7th Team to represent Phoenix in the Third Annual "TAP National Championships" in New Orleans. "In Theory" was chosen in a blind draw from all the teams who participated in the second chance tournament on Sunday. It is fitting they were chosen because they made it all the way to the final round, but weren't able to close it out. Congratulations team "In Theory." We are proud to have you and all the other winning teams represent Phoenix TAP in New Orleans. We do not have a picture of "In Theory" however we can tell you who is on that team. Donnie Brewer (Captain), Cindy Brewer, Sean Eckes, Sandy Dame, Kim French, Rob Winklebauer and Spencer Brinkley.

Congratulations to Rob Lawrence's team, "Burn Em Down," for capturing one of the slots to go to the T.A.P. Nationals in New Orleans. Rob's team plays out of SixShooters at 35th Avenue and Peoria. Great Job "Rack N' Ruin!" Jim Gahan, the captain of "Rack N' Ruin," was beaming with pride when his team rallied for the win to go to the New Orleans Nationals in October. "Styx" takes top honors at the Masters! A round of applause for Todd Gunderson's team, "Styx" who made it through with flying colors and gets a chance to do it all over again at the New Orleans Nationals (as if this wasn't enough pressure!). "Run Em Out" runs away with the win on the second day! Dean Martin's team, "Run Em Out," got knocked out the first day of the Masters, but had a chance to come back on Sunday with all the other teams who were knocked out for a "Second Chance Playoff " to determine the sixth and final team going to the T.A.P.
