The player of the month award program is designed to recognize individual excellence during weekly play. This is not necessarily limited to shooting ability, it can encompass everything from improved game, great attitude or just a great guy or gal who plays in the league. If you are interested in nominating someone, download the form and e-mail, fax or place in your weekly packet.

Dan Allen
Player of the Month for March 2008
Dan has been in the TAP league since the first day it started in Phoenix and prior to that played pool in various other leagues out of Skip & Jan's. You may not know this, but I remember Dan when he used to work at Skip & Jan's - he's almost a permanent fixture!
Dan is a great captain and led his team to the New Orleans Nationals a few years ago. He has the ability to coach any level of player and always has a positive attitude.
It's fitting that his friends and team mates nominated Dan as player of the month for March, 2008.
Congratulations Dan for your dedication to the sport of billiards!

February 2008 Player of the Month
Kelly Lane
February 2008 Player of the Month is Kelly Lane. Nominated by not only his team mates, but also by other players out of Division J – East side travel.
Kelly can be summed up as one nice guy and a great pool player - not particularly in that order. Kelly became a captain for the first time in the fall ’07 session and is doing a tremendous job! His team is running away with the winning points this session - almost 15 points ahead of the 2nd place team!
Whether Kelly is the captain or a team member, he can always be counted on as a supportive and dedicated player. It's obvious that he loves the game of pool and is a great captain - Congratulations Kelly for being nominated as Player of the Month.
