Are you left or right eye dominant (What difference does it make)
Over the last few years there has been a lot said about the use of a dominant eye, showing how to determine which eye is the one dominant and so on. Some people say you should put your cuestick under your controlling eye. I am not saying we don't have a dominant eye, it may very well be a valid theory. I say what difference does it make, this is not the way to play pool, and here is my side of the argument.
Mother nature saw fit to put two eyes in the front of our faces to give us better depth perception, we use both eyes equally to look at distance whether it be an airplane in the sky miles away from us, or a cup of coffee on the table in front of us.
In cue sports it is the distance between the tip of the cue and the aiming point on the object ball that is determined by using both eyes, the dominant eye method does not come into play at all.
What I am saying here is the dominant eye is just another thing that someone came up with to clutter our brains and take our mind off our game. Forget it!! Play your game, you will play better without it.
