Here are the rules for a new way of playing an old game. I call it Arizona 8 ball. Try it. It puts a little thought into the game. Enjoy
Arizona 8 ball (8 ball with a twist)
Played following the rules of standard 8 ball, with the following differences:
After the first legally pocketed ball, the players must alternate shooting one of their balls and one of the opponents.
The first shot of an inning must be one of the shooters balls and then one of the opponents, then one of his, and so on.
As long as both players have balls on the table the shots must be alternated in this manner.
i.e., If a player comes to the table with one of their balls and one of the opponents balls and the 8 ball, he must first pocket his ball and then his opponents and then the 8 ball.
